Codex Sardinia shines a light on contemporary Sardinia, a land deeply rooted in folk traditions expressed through the various cultural events that weave seamlessly through daily life. From folkloric events in traditional dresses to religious rituals and the vibrant celebrations of Carnival, Fara, through this photographic journey, portrays a land where customs and traditions constitute an intangible heritage that includes practices, representations, expressions, knowledge, skills, as well as tools, artifacts, objects and cultural spaces recognized by communities and individuals as integral parts of their cultural heritage.

The photo project first presented to the public in 2021 was awarded that year as a finalist in the international competition of Italian Street Photography Festival in Rome and the Urban photo Award in Trieste.
