Bio
Lilia Carlone was born in 1991 in Italy, amidst the backstage of theaters, constantly traveling in the back seats of a Volvo Polar, following her family of actors and musicians always on tour. Growing up in a constantly moving environment pushed her to seek an artistic path in video and photography. She settled in Milan at the age of 10, where she had the opportunity to attend art schools. In 2011, she began her career as a videomaker, focusing her efforts on small-scale projects. After graduating in 2015, she chose to deepen her technical skills in cinematography, continuing to work in Milan.
At the same time, she began exploring analog photography to refine her vision and aesthetic personality. What she initially thought was just a tool to perfect her style turned into a true passion and artistic career, where she strives to capture and build a narrative through every single frame. In 2017, she started working as a camera technician for films and TV series. Simultaneously, she continues to pursue personal projects that, over the years, have helped her define her career as a Director of Photography. Lilia boasts several projects in the fields of photography and cinema. In 2023, some of her photographs were exhibited at Image Nation in New York.
