Bio
Joana Betzner nurtured her passion for art by studying at Escola Massana and ESCAC in Barcelona, later completing her film studies in Toronto. Her childhood spent in the serene mountains of the Spanish Pyrenees fueled her deep admiration for nature, which continues to be a central source of inspiration in her art. Through photography and film, Joana explores themes related to the connection with the natural world, femininity, spirituality, and the search for the most authentic essence of the human being.
Currently, she works as a photographer and filmmaker and has taken on various roles such as director of photography, creative director, assistant director, and editor, collaborating on a wide range of audiovisual projects, films, music videos, brands, and companies. In addition to her professional work, Joana dedicates time to her personal photography projects, which have already received recognition and have been exhibited in various shows in both Italy and Spain.
