Felicitas Schwenzer

Felicitas Schwenzer is known in the photography world by her artistic pseudonym, Ophelia. Although she has always nurtured a strong passion for this art form, she took her first steps in digital photography only in 2019, soon transitioning to medium format analog photography, which she discovered to be the best medium to fully express her creativity.

From a young age, she has shown a keen interest in the forms of the human body and nude studies, recognizing in them a vast range of perspectives, variations, and abstractions. For Felicitas, capturing the nude body represents one of the most intimate, sincere, and pure aspects of photography. She also prefers composing shots that involve multiple people, where the interplay of movements and shapes creates a unique and sometimes surprising beauty. Through her photographic work, Felicitas aims to restore the nude body, especially the female form, to a dimension beyond the sexual aspect, transforming it into a work of art and a means to express deep emotions.

Felicitas has numerous publications to her credit and has participated in various exhibitions in recent years, from the cities of Vienna to Orlando, Florida. She currently resides and works in Hamburg, where she is studying education and psychology.
