Bio
Chantal Convertini, born in 1992 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, has always had a great passion for analog photography. Through her work, Chantal explores the boundaries of intimacy and human relationships; she prefers to portray herself and the people closest to her, including her partner and her closest friends. It is precisely when the lens of her camera is focused on her that a depth of emotions and feelings emerges, giving a unique character to her works.
Her work has been featured in various magazines, both online and print, and her shots have been exhibited in numerous group shows from Amsterdam to New York, from Los Angeles to Paris. For over a decade, Chantal has been living and working in Basel, Switzerland, and together with Imagenation and especially with KBH.G (Kulturstiftung Basel H. Geiger), she has also actively worked on larger exhibitions both as an artist and a curator.
